Meet the Senior Pastor of Family Life Assembly of God and his Family
 

Reverend H. Gene and Maria Allen

Gene and Maria bring a rich history of Christian heritage and church ministry leadership to Family Life Church. Gene was called to preach at the age of 17 years old. Since that time he has served as an evangelist, youth and associate minister, and for the past sixteen years, a senior pastor. He is a passionate communicator who brings practical biblical truths to help his congregation deal with contemporary issues. Gene is a servant/leader who has a great passion for people and a desire to see those people experience Jesus in a rich, fulfilling, life-changing way.

Maria has served along side her husband since their marriage in 1984. Besides her ministry as a pastor’s wife, she serves as Women’s Ministries Director at Family Life Church, Section 9 North Women’s Ministries Director for the Assemblies of God in Oklahoma and she works full-time as an Account Manager with Church Mutual Insurance Company. Maria is known for her energetic personality and her sincere desire to connect and help women deal with contemporary stresses such as balancing family, work and ministry. She is also known for her cooking, baking and love for recipe books.

Gene and Maria have been married for 25 years and have three daughters and a son-in-law.
