~ Good Morning and Happy Saturday!

Besides daily Bible reading, (I’m reading the Bible through chronologically this year), I also read a corresponding chapter of Proverbs, each day. For instance, today is February 5th, so I read Proverbs, chapter 5 this morning. I’d like to encourage you to do the same as well. Reading Proverbs is like pouring wisdom into your heart and mind.

This morning, our Bible passage comes to us from . . .

• Proverbs‬ ‭5:15-19 •

“You should be faithful to your wife, (this verse applies to husband and wife, meaning faithful to your spouse), just as you take water from your own well (in Bible times, water was scarce and wells were heavily guarded). (16)And don’t be like a stream from which just any woman may take a drink. (17)Save yourself for your wife and don’t have sex with other women. (18)Be happy with the wife you married when you were young. (19)She is beautiful and graceful, just like a deer; you should be attracted to her and stay deeply in love.” ‭(CEV‬)

These verses are very self explanatory.

💍 Be faithful to your spouse!

💍 If you are struggling in this area
of unfaithfulness, go to the Lord
Jesus and repent, then ask Him
to heal your marriage.

💍 Talk with your pastor and get his,
or her, guidance.

💍 Talk with your spouse and
sincerely ask for their
forgiveness.

💍 See a Christian counselor and
get help with this issue.

If there is unfaithfulness in your marriage, Jesus can heal you, and your spouse, and make you whole again. It’s hard work, but saving your soul, and your marriage, is worth the work.

God bless you as you pursue a strong marriage by asking Jesus to help you love your spouse more, and more, each day.

And the greatest advice that I could give you, is to . . .

✝️ Let Jesus be at the very center
of your marriage and home.
(Grow closer to Jesus and you’ll
grow closer to your spouse.)

✝️ Seek Jesus first.

✝️ Trust Jesus more.

✝️ Pray as a couple, together.
