January 2022

~ Good Morning & Happy T•G•I•F !!!

Our Bible verse for today comes to us from . . .

• 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17 •

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (NLT‬‬)

As a “new person” (new creation), believers grow into the likeness of Christ and become more like Him (read Colossians 3:10).

For a better understanding of this “new person/new life/new creation” idea, read Isaiah 65:17-25. It is a tremendous prophecy concerning our future lives with the Lord.

Let me encourage you to pray, and read the Bible so that you can learn more about Jesus and become more like Him. As a believer, becoming more like Jesus should be our main goal.

Be blessed!

~ Good Morning!

Our Bible verse, today, comes to us from . . .

• Psalms‬ ‭24:1‬ •

“The earth and everything on it, including its people, belong to the Lord. The world and its people belong to him.” ‭‭‭(CEV‬‬)

Think about that . . . Everything in existence belongs to Father God; even YOU!

As an human being, we are born, then grow up looking like and behaving like either both, or one of our parents. We are a part of them. We imitate them. We pick up their mannerisms.

It should be the same as Children of Father God:

✝️ We should Imitate Him.

✝️ Behave like Him.

✝️ Have His same mannerisms.

Could I ask you to re-evaluate your life, based on God’s Word (The Bible), to check and see if you are living like the Lord, and like He wants you to live?

If so, Praise the Lord! But if not, today is an opportunity for you to rededicate your life to Him, and start imitating Him. You can do this, because He will give you the power, strength and ability to do it.

Say this simple prayer with me, and mean it from your heart . . .

“Jesus, forgive me of all my sins. Come into my life and be my Savior and Lord. Help me to be like you, and serve you faithfully. I love you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.”

If you just read, and said, this prayer, and meant it with all your heart, Congratulations! You are now saved! Jesus has forgiven you of all your sins and you are a child of God. Praise the Lord!

Now go testify about it, tell someone that Jesus has saved you. Facebook me here and let me know!

What’s next?

✅ Start reading the Bible. (Begin in the book of John, or Romans, in the New Testament, and read a corresponding Proverb for everyday of the month.)

✅ Start talking (praying) to Jesus.

✅ Begin Faithfully attending a Bible based church. (I’d like to invite you to come see us at Family Life Assembly of God. We’d love to help you along on your journey with Jesus. See the website below.)

The Lord wants all of us to surrender to Him, be His children and be like Him. Please come to Jesus today.

Sincerely,

~ Good Morning!

From my devotion this morning, these verses of scripture spoke to me very deeply.

‭‭• Luke‬ ‭9:23-26 •

📖 “Then He said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. (24)If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. (25)And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed? (26)If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when He returns in His glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.”” (NLT‬)

✝️ These verses of scripture are very self explanatory; however, the bottom line is, everyone of us needs to totally surrender our lives to Jesus, accept Him as Lord of our lives and place Him first in our lives.

✝️ As followers of Jesus, we must give up our own way, take up our cross daily, and follow after the Lord. This means that we must lay aside our own desires, follow the instructions of Jesus and follow His will for our lives. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we can’t do what we would like to do in our lifetime. In my life, I have found that after I have done what the Lord has wanted me to do, that He has meet my needs and given me the desires of my heart.

✝️ If we are ashamed of Him, or to publicly serve Him, He will be ashamed of us.

✝️ Everyone one of us need to faithfully serve the Lord, out loud, in front of others, so that others can see our testimony and be attracted to Jesus.

Here is my Life Verse that I live by every single day. It will help us put, “take up your cross daily,” into the right perspective.

Matthew 6:33 . . .

📖 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (KJV‬)

And here’s the same verse in a more modern translation:

📖 “But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.” (CEV)

✝️ When we carry out our Lord’s will, and work, first, and foremost, in our lives, He is then faithful to meet our needs and give us the desires of our hearts.

I encourage you to always seek Father God out first, and make Him number one in your life. Carry out His will for your life, and never be ashamed of Him. He will reward you greatly, and will never be ashamed of you.

Sincerely,

~ Good Morning!

In reading my morning devotions, I came across three powerful verses that I want to share with you today.

Reading through the book of Job, Job is being tested by the Lord, and his three friends come to encourage him, yet, all they are really doing is blaming him for having sin in his life; his having sin in his life, thus the reason for his torment.

In Job 18, Bildad has just once again spoken a chapter worth of discouraging words to Job. In chapter 19, Job responds to Bildad.

I love the following three verses, which Job spoke, because even though Job is going through such horrible pain ,and suffering, he still has hope in his Lord.

Notice Job 19: 25-27 . . .

““But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. (26)And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! (27)I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!” ‭(NLT‬‬)

Our Father God is always faithful to us, no matter what season of life that we’re in.

‼️ No Matter What You’re Going Through, Always Trust In The Lord ‼️

Sincerely,

~ Good Morning & Happy Monday:

This is the first full week of the New Year, 2022 . For some that will mean back to work, and for others, back to school.

I want you to know, on this very first Monday of 2022 , that whatever you might have to experience this year, the positive or the negative, Jesus has got you. His mind is always on you, His heart is always poured out to you and His eyes are always watching you. Stay faithful to Jesus!

Let’s look at the scriptures together . . .

• Philippians 4:4-7 •

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. (5)Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; (6)do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (7)And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (ESV)

‼️Here Are 5 Ways To Start The New Year Off Right‼️

✝️ 1.) Verse 4: “Rejoice in the Lord always…” — This means to always be grateful to, and happy in, the Lord.

✝️ 2.) Verse 5: “Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;” — Be reasonable, gentle, peaceable, with everyone and always be ready to testify of the goodness of the Lord, and His soon return.

✝️ 3.) Verse 6: “do not be anxious about anything,” — Don’t be stressed out, nervous or anxious about anything. Cast all your cares on Jesus.

✝️ 4.) Verse 6: “but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving” — Pray about everything and be grateful for anything the Lord does for you!

✝️ 5.) Verse 6: “let your requests be made known to God.” — Ask Jesus about anything and everything.

If you will practice the above 5 things everyday, this year, here is the Lord’s BLESSING for you . . .

✝️ Verse 7: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Your Blessing is that Jesus will give you a powerful, supernatural Pease that will help you overcome any problems, or obstacles, that may try to stand in your way of His will for your life. You will not be susceptible to a heart attack caused from anxiety, or a nervous breakdown caused by too much stress. The Lord Jesus is going to be with you every step you take!

✅ Practice God’s Word this year!

✅ Read it!

✅ Listen to it!

✅ Get a better understanding of it!

✅ Live by it!

Your Blessings are found, and your Miracles come, as you follow, and carry out God’s Word in your life.

May all of our Lord’s blessings come to you this year.

Sincerely,

— Pastor Gene Allen

~ Good Morning & A HAPPY NEW YEAR To You🎈🎉‼️

Our Bible passage is very fitting for this first day of 2022. Lo ok with me at . . .

• Isaiah‬ ‭43:18-19 •

“But the Lord says, “Do not cling to events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago. (19)Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already—you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there.” ‭(Good News Translation)

The Lord has something NEW for everyone of us this year, if we will trust Him, and serve Him in faith.

Don’t let your past failures, or successes, keep you stuck in yesterday. Expect the NEW that the Lord has for YOU!

✅ Pray for it‼️

✅ Believe for it‼️

✅ Listen for it‼️

✅ Watch for it‼️

✅ Expect it‼️

✅ Accept it‼️

There is no telling what the Lord has for your 2022. Wh atever it is, Step Out In Faith and JUST DO IT! God’s got you. Remember, if He didn’t think you could do the NEW thing He’s calling you to do, He wouldn’t of ask you to do it.

If you must, Go Afraid, but do what the Lord calls you to do it with all your might (Eccl. 9:10).

I Believe In You!

Sincerely,

— Pastor Gene
